Opportunity Knocks

Opportunity knocks
And I answer
Though just it be
The chance for poetry
I say come on in
So here we are

Or me at least
I'm not so sure about you
Because here I am
Either quietly good
Or loudly bad
And surely one of those
Would spur a comment yes

So logically
I must indeed
The former be
And to stir a reply
This is what I'll do
Give me three little facts
That pertain to you
And I will write
A worthy verse

The facts can be sad
Even bad
If that is what you want
To read on the net
Because I will post it there
Since the point's to share

But it'll be good
Because I have the skill
To craft the pieces
Into a beautiful whole
Just don't be a troll
And make them truths
About disgusting things
And we should be fine

It goes without saying
Since I bleed in poetry
There's no need to pay to me
A single dime
But if my rhyme
Moved you yes enough
Well you can guess the rest

Like three good facts
And seven verses
Are worth a goodly little bill
Say purple eh
In my home and native land
And simple green
A little further south

Now that's a deal to me
Because I bleed poetically
So best to snap me up
Before I'm gone
Because this is an offer
For a limited time
Because the cost of rhyme
Is ever the higher going
And I'll not be knowing
When next it will
See the rising cost

Opportunity knocks
Not just for me
But for you as well
Because poetry
Has a story to tell
And it could be yours
Yes it could be yours indeed
Imagine the many
But waiting to read
About your goodly self
In goodly verse
As writ by a fish
Yes your perfect wish

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Though being true, because of the pain, there is no comfort but the comfort of escaping awareness through sleep. Hopefully I will find my way to sleep tonight because right now, it feels as though I will not. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. But that was more than a half hour ago and that was too long for me to hold onto the thought that I had then. Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
