A New Joy
I've found a new joy
The past two days|
Of having no need
To wordably bleed
In the final good hour
Of another good day
Where I'm a okay
On both good streaks
And believe you me
I want to keep it alive
Which is all but done
For I'm hardly in tough
With the easy need
To write a couple hundred some
When I'm feeling the flow
Of goodly verse
Aye that's my thing
Even though it matters not
As only the rare
Can make them some money
As a profitable poet
Yeah I'm rare indeed
But no one's clamouring to read
Anything that I write
Even when it has the beauty
Of goodly flowing words
As mine but does
Which I say aloud
With all due modesty
Which is very little
Because I am fucking good
And should be understood
Much more than it is
That understood of course
Is by me myself
The poet duh
Who writes the goodly words
You didn't know you needed
Until I told you so
And you said yeah
That makes sense
But I've got years to live
And the poet's will
To rhyme but still
No matter what
The reaction ever comes to be
When I drop my poetry
I've found a new joy
The past two days
Or three but sure
At the end of this verse
As once again
I'll have the goodly whole
Of the final hour
Without the screaming need
To wordably bleed
Which is pretty cool
If I do say so myself
Yeah I've found a new joy
And though it will shortly end
As all such things
Must inevitably do
If you don't mind
I'll keep it going
As long as I can
And I think that I can
For days to come
