Spleck #18

 

Well, now I feel real stupid.

This was so much easier than I thought.

I could have been drawing you all in with my drawings when I was last here.

Oh bother.

But onwards and upwards right?

I will be able to Splecken the rest of the month without fail.

As for the drawing itself

That was supposed to be a beast of some sort, but it looks more like some kind of monster doesn't it?

And then I added the young pencil between for peril.

I'm not afraid to kill these characters, or keep them dead, though I haven't settled on a cast, which will have to change in the new year.

Should change.

Won't change for another six months?

Yeah, I'm flexible.

I know, that's the wrong word but the right word would hurt. 

So which would you rather die by? A ginat bird or some monster beast?

The bird would take you out with its beak while monster beast would tear you apart with its claws.

Neither death is going to be painless.

At least the bird was normal once.

Right?

Of course, Spleck was normal too once as it had a different name and it's populace was different as well.

But that would be telling and I ain't telling nothing.

Not without a good reason.

You can imagine what the reason is since you're smart.

But midnight is around the corner and I'm about to turn into a pumpkin so I am out.

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Though being true, because of the pain, there is no comfort but the comfort of escaping awareness through sleep. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. But that was more than a half hour ago and that was too long for me to hold onto the thought that I had then. Spleck #20

Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
