Spleck: Creyonah #21



It's weird to be posting the blog this early, since the day is as bnew as it is, but I will be out tonight to watch a movie and I don;'t miss out on posting, even if it's just one of my drawings which you all love so much because you tell me so each time I post with your dozens of well thought out critiques.

 Do I come off like an asshole for the writing of that last paragraph?

 It sucks that I've had just two replies and I am so much bettter now than when I started and I will only continue to improve but it seems not to matter.

 Or have I not improved and only think I have?

 If your feedback is constructive, only a fool can tel you off.

 As for me, don't just say that I suck, but tell me why I suck.

 And for the record, I don;t think that I suck, I'm expressing myself in the Petrie style.

 Yeah, draw it Petrie style.

 Look I know that I am limited in what I can do which is why I draw simple things like pencils rather than people. 

 I've drawn a lot of pencils of late, but these I can do and then I add some words, which I am not counting but will almost surely count in the new decade when I have figured out the how of it because writing five words and calling that a Fishing is not something I will do easily.

 In the years to come though, I will hopefully draw more than just inanimate objects given life, or what it is, people turned into living objects.

 You see, the truth of Spleck is...

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Though being true, because of the pain, there is no comfort but the comfort of escaping awareness through sleep. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. Spleck #20

Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
