Spleck #24


I did some writing tonight that has vaulted me into to the goodly heights up the mountain to reach the first good peak.

And the drawing that I drew for the final Sunday Spleck is one of my best Splecks of the year. 

Though that's not saying much is it?

Not if I want to monetize this thing that I do each and every single day, which I do.

An elephant, a bird and a turtle walk up a road that has been paved over an otherwise lovely hill that ends at a tree that shouldn't be there.

Well, neither should be there, the road or the tree.

But both are and the animals are going to play a part of what happens because they have walked up this road on this day.

Or would if it was a story that was ever going to get written.

Hmm.

Okay, that's it, I'm out. I don't have anything more to say about the drawing than I liked it lots.

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Though being true, because of the pain, there is no comfort but the comfort of escaping awareness through sleep. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. But that was more than a half hour ago and that was too long for me to hold onto the thought that I had then. Spleck #20

Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
