Spleck: Creyonah #29


These guys were, I think, meant to be Spleck characters going forward in the brave new world of all the Volume Two Splecks.

But they do not resonate with me now in the least and I think that I will leave them here, where they belong because I'm certainly not going to tear the drawings up or anything.

 And my drawing continues to improve and I've come up with better looking characters than these three.

 Even if the improvement is minimal, evne the slightest of minimal counts when I spent 28 years thinking I can't draw.

 I can.

 And I do, each and every single blessed day that I have, which is something that I will continue doing for the rest of my days, the same with the writing.

 Or, until I am waylaid by disease or some unforeseen injury.

 Fingers crossed, neither will happen, or not for decades.

 Owing to my improvement, I'm sure to make a happy buck or two yes?

 That's my belief anyway.

 Only time will tell how right or wrong I am in this belief.

 Well, I'd love to stay and keep writing, but I have other places to be writing so that's where I'll be.

 I hope that your day is unfolding well. And not just because it's the final days before Christmas. Your life unfolding well doesn't have to stop mine from being good.

 That's up to me.

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Though being true, because of the pain, there is no comfort but the comfort of escaping awareness through sleep. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. Spleck #20

Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
