Spleck: Creyonah #34

"You understand what I'm saying yes?" The angry pencil said to the quiet little snowman, who was just looking at him blankly, so you could imagine the pencil's frustration, even if he sounded very much like a jerk in that moment, like he was too important to be slumming it in this part of Spleck.

Little Snowman sighed. and shook his head. "Yes sir, I understand you, but I don't know why you're complaining when one must imagine that you came here because you wanted to yes? Or were you drugged in some outlandish, but plausible plot to kidnap yuou and you bring you here. If so, I can direct you to the police department which has only been busy once in the last five years. So odds are that you won't have to wait long at all to be seen by Sheriff Parkswell. Just make sure that it is a serious issue and not some drunken lark, like some have done when they've come to Sparrow's Cove." He said, with a questioning look.

"That won't be necessary Little Snowman. I just wasn't expecting to be in Sparrow's Cove, or know there was a little hamlet called Sparrow's Cove in the first place."

"Only my wife calls me Little Snowman, sir. You can call me Alvin
Tolver. And you are?" Alvin asked. as he stroked his chin, not sure that the odd stranger would tell him his name. or that he should believe him even if he did.

"Torruth Pereden and don't expect to be seeing me again because Sparrow's Cove is the last place I need to be at any time of the year, but especially for Saturnalia, which I always spend in the big city because that where I've always spent it." He said as he made a face and spun around and quickly made his way back from when he came, hoping against hope that he would somehow be back in the last place that remembered being.

Alvin chuckled softly and began to whistle as he slowly walked in the other direction as the bird stopped singing and watched him carefully.
