"Dude, what the hell? it's broad daylight. What are you doing walking around naked as a jaybird like it ain't no thing? That's disgusting actually." Torruth said, as he stopped and stared at the husked cob who was looking back at him glaring like he'd just attacked his family's honour.

"Who are you to talk Pencil? You're naked too. So get out of my face with your hypocrisy that I don't have time for."

"It's not the same thing and you know it Cob. This is the pencil's natural state. you on the other hand come in a husk."


"The name's Maizen pencil and the husk is to shepherd us through out transformation and we shed it upon maturity." Maizen snorted angrily.

"But I've seen cobs walk around in their husks and they look right dressed." Torruth shot back as he was not going to let up on this.

"I have nothing to be ashamed of  pencil and I'll thank you to shut up and let me be on my way before  I lose all interest in shopping for Saturnalia which is right around the corner and will be here before we know it.

And still but fuming
But gratefully assuming
That this would be the end
Of his encounter with
The pencil prick
He took a breath
And looked past him yes
Hoping to find his goodly feelings again
Which you need but when
You shop for the season
If you seek to get
The perfect gift

Sadly the season
Isn't a reason
For all to be
Out and about yes happily
So encounters like this
Are bound to happen
Yes sadly so

Especially with pencils
Or so it seems
As the hero of this tale
Though hero seems a lie
Is an angry shape of wood indeed

Meanwhile, A spider seeks to save a bar by saving a beer?

Whose bar is it and why would a spider even care if the bar was saved or not?

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Though being true, because of the pain, there is no comfort but the comfort of escaping awareness through sleep. Hopefully I will find my way to sleep tonight because right now, it feels as though I will not. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. But that was more than a half hour ago and that was too long for me to hold onto the thought that I had then. Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
