Spleck: Creyonah #45


I am glad that I wrote as hard as I did between April and the first 15 days of December so that I could afford to take it easy for the rest of the year.

Though I still managed to first good peak it two days ago so that I could have a 10,000 word week.

Assuming I can write enough words tonight, when the week ends.

But surely I have enough time and can write what I need to write so that the extra effort a couple days ago wasn't in vain.

Aside from having another first good peak day of course. That's always worth it.

 But I did it so that I could have myself another 10,000 word week so to fail at that would be annoying.

 Only I have enough time to do what needs to be done so I am not worried that I will fall short of the 10,000 word week.

 I will however fall short of 1250 words for the day.

 Ugh.

 I made the choice though to draw when I could have been writing as it is not essential that my posting to the blog includes any drawing.

 I just prefer it this way.

 I'm not going to write another 383 words before the end of the night to hit 1000 words at least?

 No, not when it's there's 23 minutes left in the day and I can't possibly write that many words.

 Not tonight at least.

 Just like the Habs can't beat the Oilers and thye've lost an awful lot of games on Saturday Night this season.

 They lived down to both tonight.

 Oh bother.

 At least I kept the 10,000 word week that I fought for two nights ago when I decided to write 3000 words.

 So no matter the suckitude of this night on the tally front, at least I won the week.

 Sadly that win wasn't even by a wide margin, but a win is a win is a win!

 But back to back days where I write fewer than 1250 words?

 Ugh!

 It's also in the bottom ten for the year.

 It is what it is.

 I'm still a Millionist and nothing can take that away from me!

 Even if someone scoffs at my Millioncy and says it didn't happen or it doesn't matter, I will know the truth!

 I wrote a million words in 2019. In fact, I wrote over 900,000 of them in the final nine months!

 Boo and yeah!

 And if this were a month other than December that doesn't have Christmas, I would have surely written more and been able to claim a million words in these last 9 months.

 Oh well.

 Be better.

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
