Spleck: Creyonah #47


Spleck was unexpectedly pre-empted last night because, quite simply, I forgot.

I did Spleck, just Creyonah, which is what I'm doing now.

I'll just have accept that I forgot to original Spleck last night.

Ugh.

What else am I going to have to accept?

And suddenly, I am so not feeling the want to write that I cpould very easily stop writing right now and be happy with what I with what I've written for the day.

Even if it wasn't cold. Though that is certainly a motivating factor.

The Habs won tonight and are back into a tenuous playoff position.

And with 4:12 left, the Green Bay Packers are up on the Minnesota Vikings 23-10.

So the Vikings need two touchdowns in 4:07, which seems unlikely.

It's been a good day.

But what else can I expect when it's Christmas in a year where I've written a million words and counting?

And drawn who knows how many drawings.

Though I could do without thirty of the pounds that I am sure to weigh, two days before Christmas.

Well, fewer than two since it's in the final hour of the day.

Ho ho ho!

1250 words for the day is almost mine.

And I have a manageable amount of finalizing the gifts to do.

Finalizing which includes more drawing and wrapping.

Yeah, it was definitely the right call to stay here and do the things that I did. 

And having reached past 1300 words, which is more than enough, even though I could stand to make up what I lost out on in the previous week, I am going to take my leave.

Good morning humans. I hate the gravity of your world because it is hard on my back and my back has had enough of it and as a result, I woke up with a pain that that I cannot stand, so I am writing to you from the comfort of my bed. It is painfully clear to me that I have been away from the words for far too long as I got caught up in the memoriams of humans that have made the pictures that they so love. I don't get their appreciation of these stories, because I find them too long and they often like to make followups. And to that idea I shake my head. Maybe it's odd that I think this as a writer, but it is how I feel. I don't even remember what I was going to write. Was I going to slam Dalton for calling me a quitter if I withdrew from the collective? He certainly deserves it, not that I hate him, but he was certainly an ass when he was dissing me for wanting the collective to succeed. Spleck #20

Wow, how is it so much brighter here than it was when I took the photo, with the lights or flash? Ugh. The science of nature am I right? I like this drawing a lot. Well, I'm not crazy about the pencil's beak, but apart from that, he's a good pencil and I will continue to draw them. Ideally with more colour choices  than the four that I currently have. But for now, however long now lasts, four will have to do. Spleck II will graduate past the black paper so that I have more choices. As for the little guy with his very own flag, he's a Pobadyd and all good Pobadyds have their own flags. Luckily for Poeth, there are many ways for a Pobaddyd to earn themselves a flag becuase there's really only one thing that Poeth is good at, since he's so small and easily beaten in all the physical ways that a Pobadyd can earn their flag.
