Das Hier #7

Oh, that's not bad at all. I can handle that easily.

Thumb said, as he smirked at me like he couldn't wait until the day ended to talk about Nos Glorieux like they had any chance to win enough games in what was left of the season to qualify for the greatest of the tournaments.

I sighed. Please, don't talk about them thumb, we're just not going to agree about them. And don't call me a hater, I'm a realist. Haters are not, they're just jealous of their history and can't wait to talk smack about them, even if their own team has glaring weaknesses, hasn't won a damn thing for an even longer time or has never won at all. That doesn't cover all of them, but it covers enough of them for the moment, because I am done talking about the sport. Okay?

Well, that's a lot more reasonable of an answer than you gave the last time FaceyLegs.

I rolled my eyes. Whatever thumb. I replied surely not hiding in my face that I wanted to be done with him, but the day was not over yet and there was still the elephant in the proverbial room, not the little elephant, who I had to admit was cuter than thumb, but the proverbial one that we'd stopped talking about.

The goodly little Writer, who needed to stop abandoning story threads based off of his drawings, a thing that we knew he was going to struggle with, which was in fact, terribly optimistic of us.

You want to talk more about the goodly little Writer don't you FaceyLegs.

Yes bird, I do. That's why we're here is it not?

And fool that he was, bird shook his head. I'm here because I'm here, I don't care about what the goodly little Writer does with his blog because we all know that it is not long for this part of the online world. It wasn't even supposed to be here in the new decade so this is just a part of his final days here before he begins the next part of his journey on his own website. So I say, it doesn't matter what he does. Especially with the reaction to his offerings that haven't won anyone over, judging by the steadily sucky numbers. His best this decade has been 3 readers, statistically speaking, that's nothing. To say that anyone cares about what he's doing here, would be laughable.

So, you think that he should stop doing this then.

Bird shrugged. No, he should do it here or at his website, eventually, for as long as he wants because clearly he's getting something out of it. He just has to find new lifting winds because the ones he had now aren't enough and can't last forever.
