The Russell Macklemore Experience #10
20:51-22:16=85
I should have seen it coming in the wake of the cancellation of the NBA season, but the remainder of the NHL season has been put on...
Ice.
Yes, I had to say that, I was obliged to by the rules off wittery, which I like to observe whenever I can.
And believe me, I can and often do, even if those who are hearing my wit are rolling their eyes at it.
They're wrong.
Imo of course.
I am a strong believer in wit and it's shame when women aren't because it shows that the man is listening, is smart and quick.
All those things are good.
But that's a tangent.
The NHL has shut down for the season and no, barring alien intervention, as they would surely have a perfect vaccine for us that solve this problem by the end of next week which would allow for the resumption of everything.
If they weren't bent on ruling the Earth that is.
These helpful aliens are not coming though and the vaccine for COVID-19 is not going to be ready for months.
So all the sports that we have to expect since the end of World War Two, which ended 75 years ago this September are going to have to wait for months.
All this to say I won't be writing about the latest loss of the Canadiens at home in this season from hell.
They were due to play the Sabres tonight and while the Sabres have once again faltered out of any hopes for the playoffs, like the Canadiens sadly, they have played the them tough the last two seasons anyway and would have surely played them that way tonight.
It likely would have been how they would have lost, be it giving up an early lead or being out of the game from the get go like they have for the last three.
So writing about that second episode of Star; The Next Generation last night because I thought that I'd be writing about the latest loss.
Which begs the question, what am I going to write about as I was intending to keep the the episode order in line with the actual day.
And I'm not feeling the Federation either.
I'm also not feeling the want to even start a story which means I'm done right?
Writing with having nothing to write doesn't do me any good now does it?
No, it does not.
I could write about another show of course, but I don't have the complete set of episode of any other series and that's the best way to yak about one.
Oh well, I' have plenty of things to do other than write about Star Trek: The Next Generation.
COVID-19 is serious and will get worse before it gets better.
But please don't panic. That's only going to make things worse.
Be well.
