What's your story
As you head but in
To the Neutral Zone
Though it should be known
I'm gonna like
Whatever tale 
They've written for us today
Because I'm a Trekkie
And I've regarded
Yes all the episodes
Of TNG
With more of a liking
Than I thought that I would
As the way that I remember things
Was that the good
Wasn't in the first
But was the very worst
Of a great good show

They found a drifting ship
And after some show and tell
As suddenly
They told us that
We'd get to see
What Geordie sees
On his goodly visor
Which was cool and all
But surely wouldn't last
Going forward far
Into the show's bright future

It's Klingons
Said Riker with
A level of disgust
That I could not trust
To bode but well
Like the makers were saying
Yeah we gotta do
The Foreheaded ones
Because the better episodes
Of the first good series
Often had them yes
And we guess
So should ours

Now set as it was
In the future far ahead
Of the first good series
Changes were afoot
From how they were
Allied but then
To how they were now
As an alliance
Had come about
Between the two main races

But as you could guess
Not all good Klingons
Would like this change
No matter how long it'd been
Since they'd gone from being enemies
To if not friends
Than not but that 

Three Klingons entered
One but died from battle
At Klingon hands
As they were criminals
In their own people's eyes
And sought escape
Aboard a Ferengi Frighter
And managed to destroy
The superior Klingon ship

As for the other two
They also died
As they sought escape again
This time from
The goodly Enterprise
Which to no one's surprise
Failed of course
As they were no match
For a Klingon to human fight
As outmatched as they were

Did they have to die
Well I guess they did
Because death it seems
Would have been their fate
If they'd handed them over
To their own good people
Who'd come along
And told the truth
That the other two
Chose but not to tell

And as the story ended
The Klingon captain
Offered a post to Worf
Which he thanked him for
But immediately told the crew
It wasn't something 
That he would ever do
He was just being polite

So that was the episode that was
The one I watched today
I liked it yes of course
And feel renewed
Even liking how I reviewed
The latest episode
In versed form
Should this but be the norm
I'm sure you'll tell me yes or no
Either way
I'll still watch the goodly show
Not again for the first good time
Just long but since
I watched it last
When I was so much younger
And  thought mine own future
Would be different than it is but now
